Another painting for “A Timeless Legacy” exhibit which is coming up on August 8 at the Hockaday Museum of Art.
McDonald Creek, in Glacier National Park, is always a favorite painting spot with the mountains surrounding it and the glacial water flowing over the colorful rocks. We had been plein air painting nearby and then the rain came. We had to pack it up but not before snapping a few more photos at this spot. I knew that it would be great fun to play with this colorful fall scene in my studio…and, it was!
